Varinia Justine is an LA-based actress known for her roles in 9-1-1 and All American. As her coaching business began to grow, she needed a digital home that would showcase her on-screen work and invite aspiring performers to train with her.
The goal was to design a clean, elegant website that felt elevated yet approachable by blending her acting portfolio with her growing suite of coaching services.
I led the creative direction and design of Varinia’s personal brand site, from early discovery through wireframes and final visual mockups. I worked closely with her to define a look that felt both high-fashion and grounded, designing a site that speaks directly to her audience in her own.
I plugged into a few of her coaching sessions to gain a better understanding of how Varinia relates with her students. After the design was complete and approved, I collaborated with a Webflow developer, who brought the vision to live!

The visual direction drew inspiration from fashion editorials and clean magazine layouts and typography. We used soft neutral tones, elegant typefaces, and spacious layouts to create a high-end, confident aesthetic that reflected Varinia’s personal style and screen presence. Each section was designed to feel conversational, like Varinia was speaking directly to her audience. This helped in creating a personal yet professional impression for prospective coaching clients.

Working with Varinia taught me a lot about designing for personal brands that need to serve multiple purposes, from showcasing past work to selling services.
It was a fun challenge balancing elegance with usability and making sure the coaching content didn’t feel like an afterthought. I walked away from this project with a deeper appreciation for blending storytelling and structure in a way that feels seamless and empowering.
